As a sales person you must always remember to smile. Not only will this make the environment pleasant and welcoming for the customers but it will also help to connect with the customer emotionally. Scientifically, a smile can enforce an involuntary reflex that makes the customer smiles as well

 - Be a problem solver– don’t just sell the product, sell a solution to customer’s problem. There might be n number of other people selling the same product. So, why should the customer buy from you? The key to getting the job done is to not just to solve the problem but also offer customer value for money spent

  - Be a good listener – selling is a two way communication. Every sales person can tell customer about the features of product being sold. But not all listen to what the customer is saying. This is one of the major causes of customer dis-satisfaction and lesser sales. To be the superstar in sales, you got to prepare yourself to become a good listener as well

 -  Be a man of words – being polite and thankful is inherent to being a great salesperson. Whenever you interact with any customer never forget to show gratitude towards them. As they say ‘treat people the way you want yourself to be treated’. So, always make sure that you fulfill the promises you have made with your client

Always remember, it doesn’t take too much to become a salesperson. But becoming a great sales person requires effort. So if you want to make it to the top, then be prepared to put that effort!!!
